His work focuses on the relationship between law, governance, development and institutional reform across domestic and international environments.

Dr. Ahmed holds a PhD in Law from Warwick Law School, University of Warwick, United Kingdom. His doctoral research focused on international development law and the relationship between international financial institutions, governance, and legal reform.
He subsequently completed postdoctoral research in international development and policy making at Washington University in St. Louis, United States.
